Appalachian Trail: Day 44

For the second day of Trail Days, it was much warmer. I did manage to sleep in a little bit. I think I was up around 7 or 7:30.
I walked down to the same group as yesterday for more pancakes and coffee and then another wander through the vendors.
I talked to Jolly over at Jolly Gear and sadly they didn't have a dress in my size. Probably should have gotten it yesterday. But, I was able to find one from Purple Rain Adventure Skirts.
By that time, it was closed enough to the Zenbivy raffle that I hung around for that. Sadly, I didn't win. The Zenbivy setup looks nice, but it's pricey.
Afterwards, I went back to my tent and changed into the dress and lathered on sunscreen before going back out.
More walking through the vendors and catching up with other hikers before walking back to the other side of town to get ready for the hiker parade.
The parade was fun. Lots of getting sprayed with water along the way as is tradition. And it ended with a speech at the stage they had setup.
The rest of the day was spent hanging around and talking with other hikers. Walking between the vendors and Tent City, and culminated with heading over to the drum circle for a while.
By that point, it was pretty dark and finding some hikers that I knew to hang out with was difficult, so I ended up back in my tent around 10 and fell asleep maybe an hour later.
