Left from Gooch Mountain and hiked past Woody Gap. I'm familiar with this gap since it's where I started my attempt at the Georgia Loop Trail a couple years ago. The climb up to Preacher Rock was just as difficult as I remember, but the view was worth it.
I swear they moved the mountains since last time because I don't remember this amount of trail between Woody Gap and Blood Mountain.
