Today was my third zero day. Like the others, just because I didn't hike any official trail miles doesn't mean I didn't do a decent amount of walking.

Of course, with the trail running straight through town, I guess technically I did do trail miles today, but they were the same miles I hiked yesterday, so I'm not counting them.

I was lazy today. I didn't leave the cabin until probably 11:30 even if I was awake around 6:30. I went to check out a local coffee shop called Artisun. They sadly didn't have much in the way of food, but the barista was nice and suggested a few places in town for food. I got a coffee and checked out the other stuff they sold in the shop before heading out.

I ended up heading to a place called Hillbilly Market since the barista said they had good sandwiches. I was able to get a decent resupply and a decent sandwich from there. I did have to stop into Dollar General to get more toilet paper and ended up handing out a couple rolls to some other hikers since they didn't sell single rolls.

Afterwards, I went back to my cabin and changed into my new bathing suit before heading back over to the office to inquire about the mineral baths. Due to my timing, I actually got a bit of extra time in the bath. Not sure how magical it was and definitely could have been hotter, but it was a nice soak. My feet do feel a bit better after.

More lounging around in the cabin followed before heading out to dinner at Grey Eagle Taqueria then a beer at Big Pillow Brewery.

Tomorrow will see me hiking out of town and back into the mountains. Plenty of more ups and downs and hopefully some good views before I get into Erwin, TN in another week.
