Appalachian Trail: Day 3

Sorry, no photos for today since my phone was dead. A long day of hiking up and down mountains. Calves are still hurting from the inclines, but otherwise nothing special during the hike.
When I got to Gooch Mountain Shelter, there was a bit of entertainment. Bug, the mooching hiker, was there and we learned a bit more about his story. Apparently, he was on an involuntary psychiatric hold a couple weeks ago. He just recently got out and got back on the trail. The little gear he had was from a trail angel who gave it to him previously. The Game Wardens showed up and hauled him out in cuffs. Apparently he has a warrant for assault out on him. Probably the best thing to happen for him cause he definitely wouldn't have made it out on the trail.
